I had some time to kill while waiting for someone and looked up nearby restaurants. The Green Papaya came up as one of the best places to eat on the Northside of Jacksonville. It was delicious. Located in a strip with two other Asian restaurants next door, the Green Papaya was the best of the three according to the reviews. I tried the mango summer rolls and the golden curry with pork and jasmine rice. The summer rolls were perfect on a 95 degree day. Light and cool to eat, while the golden curry had some nice flavor and was very aromatic. The restaurant was very clean and the staff attentive. Definitely a good stop.

WOW is the first word that comes to mind. The ambiance was amazing and the customer service was on point. The serving size are pretty huge. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer which was so delicious we devoured the entire plate. The duck was cooked just right. Minimal to almost no fat, killer flavor and not under/over cooked at all. The sauce was not overbearing to where it made the crust on the duck soggy it was just enough to add some pop to an already tasty dish. I had Plum Wine with my dish and I must say it was a great compliment. If your looking for something different I highly recommend the Green Papaya!
Went in there for lunch. It was great. We loved all the food we ordered! If we would have all got our food at the same time they would have gotten 5 🌟
I really like this place. The people are very nice and it seems to be clean. The food is excellent in my opinion. I've tried most of the dishes there but I always go back to the red curry. By far my favorite dish. The portions are generous and food is delicious. Great value especially when you go for lunch. They are not very consistent with the hot/spicy levels, but that is ok, as you can always ask for additional pepper mixture on the side. Definitely would recommend to any of my friends and family. I wish they had a location in Mandarin or closer to Jacksonville, instead of only at the airport.
On the way to Jacksonville airport, back home to California, hungry and don't want to eat at the airport, found this place by accident..... voila! the best food and best service! Give it a try and you're not gonna regret it!👍😊
